Birchland Plywood-Veneer Ltd., one of North Americas leading producers of hardwood plywood and veneer for over 30 years, located in Thessalon, Ontario, is seeking a Sales Representative.
Based out of Thessalon, Ontario, and working both in and out of our office, the selected individual will be responsible for account management and will possess excellent organizational skills, have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and will be a member of our motivated and dedicated team.
The position will require the individual to develop sales strategies to meet sales goals, become educated in our company’s production capabilities and possess or gain extensive knowledge of industry technical standards. Travel will be required throughout GTA and North America to develop new markets while servicing existing accounts.
Post-secondary or equivalent experience in sales or a related industry. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in plywood or forestry product fields. A working proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office) is essential as well as a proven ability to be self-motivated.
